A Romantic First Wedding Anniversary

You still remember the day vividly.dressed in a beautiful gown you walk down the aisle and said “I do”. You cherish those beautiful memories, the first wedding night, the gifts, friends and relations but above all your beloved…one year has passed and you want to relive those memories. You must let him feel how special he is and how much it means to you that he has entered your life. If you are really romantic you can try gifting something special every month on the date you got married till the first anniversary and keep that day really special.

If you go by tradition, for the first anniversary it is paper or in the modern version clocks. You can get creative; try a message in a bottle, a cute photo album with photos of the last year right from the wedding day or say it big with some huge I love you cards. If you are not in a tight budget you may gift a camera with the album or something like that.

Clocks are another wonderful gift for a first wedding anniversary so try some cool watches. Styles are varied and you have a huge variety from trendy to traditional so make your choice according to your husband’s taste.

Now for something romantic, you can relive the wedding night. You may book a hotel room or probably take the same honeymoon package you took a year back provided a kid has not come along yet.

In case you are having a baby you can plan the night at home with someone to look after the kid. A full body massage or a bubble bath for two or a trip to the spa together or a romantic night with chocolates, whipped cream and strawberries would make your night special.

You may book a late night movie or a dinner by the beach or plan much in advance a trip to some beautiful beachside resort or hill station. Complement your husband, tell him how much you love him, appreciate all that he has done and make him feel good. Remember these special days come only once so make it really memorable.
