Are macho men taking a back seat?

The eternal myth seems to be now breaking that, the so called male species loves that are usually perceived as lady killers is flouting away. In fact findings that were done on an international level also revealed that, most of the men want to be respected, they want to lead a tuneful and harmonious familial life, and they even want to have an understanding and fantastic relationships with their partners. Thus, here the “macho man” tag does not have any place.

In fact men themselves opine that they have to be original in order to woo their female counterparts. The best and simplest thing is to be real.  If a person is macho then it shows, if a person is sensitive then it also shows. In fact if one is trying to put up a false facade pretending to appear honorable and caring, will not work long, unless and until that qualities are not inborn.

Some studies even suggest that, majority of men who ranked a healthy lifestyle and wonderful compatibility with their partners only for self fulfillment and sexual concerns. Once a man grows the sense of responsibility and the need of mutual respect in any relationship arises on its own. Some men think the term macho as too frivolous. Well one cannot altogether deny the fact there is a class of women among the females who are attracted towards the so called macho men.

However, some of the experts opine that the drive for projecting themselves as honorable and self reliant among the men depends on many factors; it could be social environmental, professional or even can depend on one’s temperament. The urge to be accepted and to be popular in social groups becomes strong. Apart from us what we see around us becomes a norm for us. One cannot generalize the statement universally that men want to be perceived as family oriented or as studs chasing women.

Well, all these things depend on what social set up you belong to or the profession that you belong to. The temperament of all individuals is not the same. It’s not only the perception of men but the outlook of the woman is also changing. Today’s women are smart well educated and career oriented. They want financial, emotional and security in their relationships. They want substance in their relationships. All these things put together as a whole makes the macho image of men to take a back seat.

The macho men are wanted by the girls just for the sake of fun. Sensitive men get the more responsible women- they want to spend their life together. Thus we can see that gender-stereotypes have changed over the years. With times the notion has also changed. The strong notion that men should be physically strong and must be capable of protecting a woman is dying away. As both the sexes are looking for deeper aspects in a strong relationships.
