In other words we can say that in order to counter the aging effects she used to make use of magnets in her jewelry and used to wear them on regular basis. It was believed in her times that magnets are therapeutic and can control the aging process and can beautify the skin to a great extent.

Thus we see that magnets were used for healing in ancient period too. Thus the formulation of modern magnetic accessories in form of bracelets and necklaces has taken place.  Magnetic necklaces are used to alleviate pain and also to de-stress the nerved muscles. It also lessens fatigue.
