Are you more in love with your baby than your husband?

Are you having an affair with your baby?
Babies are just so pretty. They smell great and they love you unconditionally. They are also one of the few people who will appreciate what you do for them. You invest your time, energy and love into them and it is returned ten fold back to you. The more time you spend with them, the more they will appreciate it. But did you notice one thing here? Your husband seems to have disappeared from the picture. They don’t get any of the love that you are now giving your new born child. What you have now done is that you have fallen in love with your child and out of love with your husband! You are now having an affair with your baby child!

What can you do as a wife?
As a woman, most of the responsibility of the caring for a child will depend on you. Sleepless nights, breast feeding, changing diapers and taking care of the household will fall on your shoulders. Those who do get help from their husbands or a support system are lucky but most of us do not. As a result, it’s completely natural to feel tired day and night, cranky and have absolutely no interest in sex. After all sex created this baby that is now giving your sleepless nights! But you cannot focus on your child and leave out your husband completely. Try to share the work and the time that you have with your infant with your man and get him in to the picture too.

What can you do as a husband?
As a man, you have been used to complete attention from your wife till date. That means she cooked for you, cleaned after you, managed your house and pampered you when you felt like it. But now she has another person in her life for which she has to do the same and it can be a burden on her. Take the time to help her out. Reduce your work load for a month of two and make sure that you reclaim and redirect her attention to you as well. When you reach out to her and help her in her work, she is much more likely to reciprocate towards you.

The bottom line is….
As a man you don’t really realize how much work and effort is invested in her new baby. Instead of whining of no sex, just help her out, let her relax and then watch her appreciate your help in any way you want!
