Be subtle is the mantra for women of maturity

Being a mature women doesn’t mean that one should refrain oneself from getting dressed up. You have been an expert and skilled person in all the nuances of looking good. Then now is it time to play plane Jane?

Why is it that older women have to give up dressing? The answer is no. Elaborate make ups, shimmery and vibrant colors can no longer magnetize the opposite sex. You need not hide your face in an elaborate facade of cream and foundation, plastered all over your face.

The key word is subtleness; remember the texture of the skin has changed and the fine lines have started to appear. So how can I be beautiful and elegant?

Well, older women should always invest in a good anti-wrinkle or a re-vitalizing moisturizer. Make use of branded gels and creams for skin surrounding the eye. To hide the fine lines, a good concealer that matches the skin tone should be applied. The rest of the face can be covered with a mild touch of foundation.

Just ensure that you cover the pigmentation and the freckles instead of smearing the plaster all over your face. Lastly a dash of compact, which matches the skin tone, is mandatory. Do not play loud or appear over
dressed up. A coral and rose shade that goes with the outfit should be used.

Shimmers will enhance the fine lines. For oily skin a powder blush works wonders. The other can make use of a cream blush. Blend is nicely upwards, highlighting the cheek bones. The eye brows could be accentuated with a light brown pencil; light smoky look can be achieved with an eye pencil. Make use of soft matte shade for eye shadow and eyeliner should be applied very thin.

The lips are known as the focal point of any face. A moisturizing lipstick with gloss is always appealing. The lip liners should be of lighter colors than the lipstick. Apply it properly so that it does not get smudged
out of the curves of the lips.
