It is not necessary to wear sunscreen in winters:
The ultra violet rays can penetrate through clouds and window panes. So even if you are not feeling the heat, the damage is the same. It is very important to use sunscreen not only in summers but even in winters. Remember, you can suffer from serious skin problems if you don’t use proper protection from the ultra violet.

Myth 2
Washing hair often can make you loose hair:
No this is not true. To keep your hair healthy keeping them clean is very necessary. If required you can wash them everyday but use a mild shampoo and don’t comb them while they are wet.

Myth 3
Wearing makeup on daily basis can damage the skin:
Only if you use inferior quality of make up or don’t remove it properly you might damage the skin.

Myth 4
Brush your hair hundred times for the shine:
Brushing for so long can weaken the hair and lead to breakage. For shine—use a good conditioner or serum.

Myth 5
You can repair split ends:
There are certain products in the market which help in increasing the quality of hair but going for a regular haircut is the only solution for split ends.

Myth 6
Nail polish makes the nail yellow as it cuts off the oxygen:
This is not true. A pigment in the nail polish turns the nails yellow and not the lack of oxygen. To avoid this apply a coat of clear nail polish before applying color.

Myth 7
Oiling hair has no benefits:
Oil acts as a conditioner or a lubricant for a smooth massage. It is only beneficial if you use it for massaging your head, as massaging improves blood circulation and activates certain pressure points for good health and hair.

Myth 8
You should not use moisturizer on oily skin:
Moisturizing your skin means keeping your skin hydrated. It is an important part of beauty regime. You can use an oil free moisturizer for oily skin.
