Best Acne Scar Remedy
Acne i.e. pimple is a very common problem, and occurs most frequently during adolescence. Even though it is absolutely normal people get concerned when it appears.
This is because apart from forming an ugly mark on our face, it also leaves behind a dirty scar.Given below are some remedies to get rid of acne scars.
A paste of sandalwood and black gram pulse applied on your face for about 4 to 5 hours (preferably kept overnight) and washed off with cold water works wonders as it not only cures the acne scars but also helps in treating large pores.
Massaging olive oil on your skin reduces the visibility of the scars and also moisturizes your skin. The juice of fresh limes applied on your skin with a small ball of cotton helps to lighten the scars and blemishes left by acne.
Tomatoes and cucumbers are very good toners. You can cut it and rub it on your face and wash it off after about 10-15 minutes. Tomatoes, not only, cure open pores and black heads but are also very beneficial for oily skin. Tomatoes are also rich source of vitamin A.
This vitamin slows the production of sebum thereby, prevents acne. You can also rub cucumber chopped pieces on your scars or apply a paste of it there. Cucumber is very effective in removing acne scars and dark circles.
Applying egg whites on your facial skin is a nice and cheap way to treating scars effectively. Rubbing ice cubes on your face for about 10-15 minutes would also help tighten the pores.
A paste of fenugreek leaves applied as a face mask provides a great and effective solution for treating the scars. Boiling fenugreek seeds in water and applying it after cooling, on the scarred area is equally beneficial.
Besides the above stated remedies, there are some creams and masks, especially mud masks that are readily available in drug stores that can be used to treat acne scars; they cleanse the skin, remove impurities, and also exfoliate it.
Then there are fade creams which works to fade the blemishes. Cocoa butter and Mederma too helps in removing the scars.
