Body Building Tips For A Beginner

Body building is a process of developing muscles by doing resistance training with free weights and machines. It is not easy to achieve an impressive muscular physique but if you are willing to put forth the effort then nothing is impossible. Most important thing is to find a well equipped and clean gym with a qualified trainer. As an immature it is very important to take guidance from a trained coach because body building done in an improper manner can cause serious health problems in future.

Before starting your weight training routine you must warm up your body by jumping or dancing and swinging your arms for five to ten minutes. After the initial warm up, train briefly. Remember, you should work hard and short. Your weight lifting routine should be concise and should not take more than an hour. Don’t use fast, jerky or uneven movements. It will be a good idea if you find a partner to train with you to keep motivated and focused.

You must work on all your major muscles and muscle groups—abdominals, legs, chest, back, shoulders and arms. Make sure, you don’t work the same muscles twice in a row. Also, equally work the muscles in opposing pairs.

The beginners should master there moves on light weights before moving to heavier weights. Increase the amount you lift gradually. One more thing you should remember is never hold your breath during weight training. It can cause your blood pressure to rise dangerously.

Muscles need 48 hours to recover so do not work the same muscles two days in a row. To grow and change muscles need rest. Even rest between the sets is very necessary. It allows immediate recovery within the muscles. This helps to train with heavier weights. Take rest for no less than two minutes and no more than three minutes.

Exercising alone will not help build body. You must take a proper diet. All the necessary nutrients required by the body should be taken. You need to increase your intake of proteins; fats and carbohydrates for the growth of muscles but you should also take vitamins and minerals. Protein shakes are also beneficial. Most body building experts suggest taking at least one gram of protein per pound of body weight daily.
