Caring For Your Breasts

One of the things that set the two genders apart is the beautiful and much written about bosoms. Bosoms are beautiful things, which we women are honored to have. They are not just a piece of beauty, but have great importance when we embark upon motherhood. Needless to say, taking care of them is of great importance, because lets face it, we have only one pair of them!

In this summer heat the body’s sweat glands are in their top gear. Hence, keeping your breast clean and germ free is very important. While taking a bath remember to properly clean your breasts, make sure you get the areas between the breast and under the breast and any other skin folds. If not taken care of properly it can lead to embarrassing and sometimes irksome skin diseases as fungal infection etc. Also, try to keep them as sweat free and dry as possible, use talcum powders if needed.

Also, the kind of clothing one wears should first take into account the comfort of the bosom. The biggest fashion faux pas as well as discomfort creator is the wrong bra size. Wearing a bra too small will create stress lines on your skin, and especially if the cup size is smaller then it will create the unsightly “four breast” syndrome. Of course if the bra size is bigger than your actual size, it completely defeats the purpose of having a bra on!

Some points to keep in mind when you next shop for bras:

1.) Try going to a lingerie shop where there are professionals to help you determine your actual size. Or just tune into one of “Oprah Winfrey shows” to learn how to make this decision by yourself!
2.) The bra is correct for you if after wearing it the breast is positioned exactly in between your shoulder and elbow.
3.) A new bra should be tight enough that you can get the hooks only in the first buckles.
4.) Make sure the fabric of the bra is flattering. The pure cotton bra’s may create the “Madonna’s conical breast”.

Lastly, when using perfumes and deodorants, don’t use them directly on the breasts. There might be harmful chemicals in them, which may lead to cancerous cells in the years to come.  We know smelling good is important but not as important as your health and well being.
