Diet To Prevent Constipation
Finding difficulty everyday when attending the nature call, then you must be suffering from constipation. This happens with the irregular bowel movement. And because of this the motions become hard and difficult to pass. The large intestine which is also known as colon removes the excess water from waste when the waste passes to the small intestine. When this passage of the waste is slow then a lot of water gets absorbed. When the food fails to absorb enough water, then constipation results.
Constipation happens when a person rises late in the morning, eats junk food, consumes food with very less or no fibers or roughage, drinks less amounts of liquids and is always in hurry to work. Constipation can become a matter of discomfort. Like all the normal activities that we do in our day to day life, passing motion is a must. One should be regular with it. Irregular motions can lead to indigestion and it may further lead to other kind of side effects. Feeling nausea is quite common.
If there is change or alteration in lifestyle or working time then we should also change accordingly. Regular exercising is a must. Today’s modern lifestyle has leaded to change in regular activities which in turn cause numerous ailments and one of the most common problems is of constipation. Similarly bad food choices further aggravates the problem. Food plays a vital role in checking and correcting this problem.
Diet for constipation
Consumption of fiber is very important. It helps in the passing the foodstuff steadily through the intestine. Food rich in fibers facilitates in the expansion of the walls. The inner walls of the colon get easily expanded and the waste gets easily ejected out of the body. The fiber is good for absorption of water, it thus makes the waste softer and the motion is easy to pass. Regular exercising and good intake of water and fluids is mandatory. See that you also consume good amount of vegetables and fruits. Similarly the low fat milk or Soya milk is good for health, but avoid, consuming other dairy products. Legumes are good. Raisins, prunes and figs should be taken. Barn muffins and cereals are very good for health. One can also take fiber wafers and vegetable soup to prevent constipation.
With proper diet one can easily control constipation.
