Dry Hair
Having healthy hair becomes a far fetched dream as age and environmental conditions start showing its effects on our strands. Moreover, lifestyle and lack of care aggravates the problem. There are many reasons which make our hair look dull and lifeless and dry hair is one of them. The cause of dry hair is lack of moisture or low level of moisture in your hair.
We need to be aware of what causes dryness and then try to work on it. Too much of exposure to the sun, water, color, styling etc, can make hair dry. Avoid too much time in the sun. Use a conditioner with SPF of 15 or wear a hat when out. Moreover, always use a swimming cap while in water and rinse your hair thoroughly after swimming. Saline water or chlorine can have a very bad effect on your hair.
One of the treatments, deep conditioning, is very popular in saloons but it is an expensive therapy. If you don’t want to spend too much money then just buy any good quality conditioner, apply it on your hair or you can also cover it with a plastic cap, this will make it less messy. Wash it after 30 minutes.
You need to oil your hair once a week. Coconut and olive oil mix with rosemary or thyme is good for all types of hair problem. Using too much of hair dryer, curling rods or curlers can make your hair dry. Too much of coloring and perming robs the hair of its natural oil.

Not eating balanced diet or mild dehydration can also cause dry hair. Add proteins and fat in your diet and also drink lots of water. You need to get a medical checkup and rule out any medical conditions. There are many diseases which cause dry hair.
