Exercise to Grow Tall

Diet, good sleeping pattern and regular exercise are important for healthy growth of the body. Here is some exercise suggested to increase height:-

Cobra pose- Lie on the stomach on the floor. Keep palms on floor below shoulder. Gently arch the spine going up leading the chin. Try to arch at maximum possible level. Repeat 3-5 times.

Super cobra pose- Keep the arms perpendicular to floor with arched spine. Bend the hips and bring the body to inverted V posture. Keep the chin resting near the chest. Now return to the original position. Repeat.

Cat stretch- Come on the dog pose on hands and knees. Inhale and bring the spine down and head up. Exhale and form spine in arched form with head down. Repeat.

Basic leg stretch- Sit keeping the legs apart. Try to reach toes keeping knees straight and spine straight. This works both for spine and legs. Repeat.

Bridge- Lie on knees bent with feet flat. The feet should be near the butt. Hold the ankles and raise the hips forming arched spine. Lift the abs to the maximum. Gently come back to original position. Repeat.

Bow down- Stand, keep the hand on hips. Bend forward without bending the knees. Repeat 3 -5 times.

Yawn- Stand tall keep hands behind the neck. Now bend the head upwards at the back. Repeat.

Super stretch- Stand erect. Try to reach the hands high slightly bending back. Feel the stretch in spine. Repeat.

Head bow down- Stand and keep the hand behind the neck. Now bend forward, bringing chin near chest. Avoid bending the knees. Repeat.

Wall stretch- Stand up near a wall. Stretch the hands upwards standing on the toes. Rest the spine against the wall. Repeat.

Straight leg up- Lie on stomach. Place the hand behind the neck. Raise the leg one at a time. Do this alternately with the other leg. Repeat.
