Exercises For All Ages

Exercising and a well balanced diet is the key to ailment free healthy life. Even experts opine that the earlier a person starts exercising, the greater are the benefits of health. Here are explained some of the exercises for all ages.

Exercise for age group 10-20- this is the period when the young children and teenagers are raring to go. It is the best phase where one can concentrate on the overall fitness. But care should be taken and one should completely avoid weights. This is because weight stiffens the body. Instead of this one can opt for any outdoor activity or sports. But still if the kid wants to hit the gym then cardio and core exercises are the best.

 Youngsters at this age are more conscious about their body, so they can go for activity that suits their interests. Experts opine that it is a carefree age and the best way to remain fit is by indulging in outdoor sports like, football, cricket, swimming, volley ball etc. this period is important as here is built the foundation for long life.

Exercise for age group 20-30- according to experts it is better to continue whatever sports that you chose earlier. If you have time crunches on account of job or studies then can utilize the weekends by keeping fit by playing sports. But focus should still rest on cardio, endurance and core strength.

Exercise for age group 30-40- during this phase life gets kind of sedentary. One can perk up and evade the dullness with aerobics, salsa or can go to the gym. Without exercises at this age the body becomes stiffer. Fusion fitness is the best, one can throw new challenges at this time of life and can thoroughly enjoy them. One can go for Pilate, tai-chi, power yoga, circuit training, dance aerobics, spinning etc.

Exercise for age group 40-50- your body should not be equipped with all the stuff that the life demands. Just try to remain active. It’s good if you had been practicing fitness in earlier stages. Most of the gym members are in their 40-50’s and they want to look good. Fitness should be the topmost priority. One can lower the intensity and can opt for gentler exercises. For the new fitness goers do not go for high intensity exercises.

Exercise for age group 50-60-some of the common age related problems are of joints, ligaments, diabetes, and blood pressure. During this time recovery takes much longer time. Continue with gentle form of exercises like, walking, swimming or yoga. Good and snug Foot wear are every important.

Exercise for age group 60 plus- just listen to the body and do not over strain much. Do exercises only as much as the body can take. And enhance the breathing exercises. Walking is the best.

As the cycle of the body shifts its gear there has to be alteration in the exercising routine as well. Remember your key to good health is in your hands.
