Exercises to Tone up the Body

Having a great body is not just about being slim; it’s also about having a toned and firm physique. Here are some exercises to help you get that perfect body:

Leg Tone:
One of the best exercises to tone up your legs is squats, with holding the dumb-bells over head. This exercise is strenuous and requires proper coordination. To perform this exercise, sit down till your hip joint is in alignment with your knee. Moreover, keep your shoulders and elbows extended. Now as you push yourself upward breathe out and as you push yourself down again breathe in.

Chest exercise:
To tone up your chest muscles, make sure you perform the ‘pec fly’. This is done with the help of a machine. You will have to sit on the seat of the machine seat, in the way that your chest is aligned with the handles. Moreover, your elbows and shoulders should also be in a single line.  Now, while sitting chest up, pull the machine handles by using the strength of your chest. The spring handles will stretch out of there place. Gradually, breathe in as you bring the handles together and breathe out as you put them back at there place.

Abdominal toning:
There is no better way to make abs then ball crunches. For that matter, make sure you lye on the ball with your lower back and neck resting on it. Then just like other normal crunches, use the strength of your abdomen to crunch upwards and then downwards. This exercise is tricky and should be performed under adult supervision.

Back toning:
If you are into training exercises then never forget to tone and strengthen your back. The best exercise of the back is ‘seated row’. This is again a machine exercise. You will have to adjust the machine seat so that when you sit your chest rests well on the chest pad. After that, catch hold of the handles with the help of our biceps and lats. Then pull the handles towards you.
