Fashion Trends For Winter 2008
With great new fashion trends it becomes confusing what to have and what not to have. Before adding anything new to your wardrobe access what you already have and then give a makeover to your existing wardrobe.
The color this season are fab jewel tones like purple, Safire, blue, Safire blue, red, maroon, deep gold’s, rusts, chocolate brown and egg plant color. Pastel and dull colors are out. Come out of the darkness and show off some color!
Dresses have come back in a big way this year. They are neither too tight nor too loose which makes them comfortable and styled to enhance the figure. The hemline is above the knees which again suits on most women for most occasions. You can go for a shirt dress or a wrap dress. Wrap is one look that suits all body types. Feminine style is so IN this season it can also be seen in blouses with soft material, ruffles and bows. The length of the blouse is a bit longer. Another thing you must have is patterned tights and hose.
Buy a nice pair of flat riding boots. They are IN, comfortable and look good with a short dress or over some tucked in skinny jeans. In high heels the pump is back this season.
A coat is a must this season. New details are being included to it like hoods, cocoon bags, big colors, wide arms, and a belted waist. Checks and tweed is IN. Remember, a coat is an investment piece and it should last you for years. For that matter make sure you buy a coat that is classy and durable.
No look can be complete without jewelry. Go for a bold bracelet and chunky cocktail rings. You can also wear jeweled metal bangles to sparkle. The biggest trend in jewelry is pendent. Remember, the bigger the better.
