Feeling Tired All The Time
If you feel tired all the time and have no energy to do anything, then get yourself checked. Fatigue can be due to some serious illness or some minor problem which can be resolved by taking a small course of medicine and altering one’s lifestyle. Here are some reasons which you should discuss with your doctor:
Anemia:
A leading cause of fatigue in women is anemia. Anemia is due to the deficiency of hemoglobin, a protein which carries oxygen from the lungs to other parts of the body. When the organs are not able to get oxygen, our body feels tired. With effective treatment, your fatigue should be all right within 20 to 30 days.
Under active thyroid or hypothyroidism
Thyroid is a small gland at the base of the neck. It controls our metabolism. A thyroid test can detect the state of your hormones. If you are suffering from hypo thyroidism your doctor can prescribe a dose of synthetic hormones and you should begin to feel better fairly and rapidly.
Caffeine:
Too much of caffeine intake can cause fatigue. For some people it is very energizing but others can have an opposite effect and increasing the consumption or continued abuse can result in fatigue. Avoid taking foods like cola, chocolates, soda, tea which have caffeine.
Sleep disorder:
Sleep apnea is a disorder which makes you stops breathing for a moment in your sleep. Although you are not aware but because of this problem your sleep cycle gets disturbed. This happens due to obstruction in your upper airway and snoring is often a sign. Loosing weight or quitting smoking can help but sometimes a surgery is also required.
Another reason for your fatigue could be food intolerance. Even mild intolerance can make you sleepy. Continuous intake of such food may leave you exhausted. Eliminating foods one by one can help you to identify the fending food.
