Fertility Diet

Many women fail to conceive due to various reasons. Diet plays vital role in allowing you to conceive successfully because some foods help you in increasing your fertility. Given below is a list of fertility diet which would increase your level of production.

Your fertility mostly depends upon the levels of required hormones produced in your body. Such hormones are estrogen, testosterone and progesterone. Estrogen deficiency causes women infertile whereas deficiency of testosterone causes male infertility or low sperm count production in men. Therefore you should eat foods which can improve your required hormones for reproduction.

Some foods which are rich in fatty acids and good fats balance estrogen level in your system. They improve your ovulation rate which increases your chances of getting pregnant. Walnut oil, olive oil, some dairy foods contain low cholesterol but they are rich in good fats. They help you to become fertile.

Antioxidants too are vital for you to conceive. Men who consume foods rich in antioxidants improve their sperm count and can make their partners pregnant easily. Some powerful antioxidants which improve fertility in men are selenium, zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin E etc. Garlic and oatmeal are very good sources of selenium. Selenium and allicin present in garlic also prevent you from any kind of infection by enhancing your immunity and blood circulation. Garlic also plays vital role in thinning your blood and controlling your weight.

Men and women both should eat fish because fish is very good source of omega 3 fatty acids and selenium. Omega 3 fatty acids are essential for proper function of your brain and if brain will function properly, your sexual organ and reproductive organs will also perform their duties successfully. If you are a non vegetarian you can get omega 3 fatty acids from flaxseeds.

Zinc enhances sperm count in men whereas it keeps estrogen hormone in women in balance. Oysters are highly rich is zinc and benefits men too much to produce sufficient testosterone hormone and male fertility.

Vitamin C rich foods such as lemon, papaya, orange, and apple increase sperm count and make healthy sperm. Vitamin E helps movement of sperm. Hence you should eat foods rich in Vitamin C and Vitamin E.

You should avoid oily foods, junk foods, sweet drinks because these foods interrupt fertility.
