Smoking:
This nasty health habit tops the list as number one. Smoking causes many severe breathing problems such as COPD (Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) which can seriously cramp your lifestyle. There are many programs out there that can help you quit. You should ask your family for support and go to your doctor to help you succeed. He will give you the right way to go about it.
Lack of exercise:
Exercise can be something we all ignore. But a sedentary lifestyle can lead to several health problems, including heart disease, stroke, diabetes, and arthritis. Start with a 30 minute walk or a workout everyday. Break out of this nasty health habit and precede towards a better you!
Junk food:
Quit the junk food. Put a ban on the intake of potato chips, candy, chocolate, fast food. Junk food is making our society obese and at a higher risk of heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Make sure you eat a lot of green vegetables and nutritious foods. This will help you cut down weight and keep you away from diseases.
Stress:
Taking excessive stress can be devastating for your health. Reducing the stress in your life can be extremely beneficial for your health and can lessen your chances for diseases such as heart and stroke. Reduced stress can also give you a better night’s sleep and a happy mood!
Bad oral habits:
Not taking proper care of your teeth and gums can directly impact your overall health. Gum diseases can affect heart health. Also, trouble chewing, biting or speaking can seriously impact one’s quality of life. Take care of your teeth by brushing twice a day and keeping a mouth wash in your bag where ever you go. It helps keep the germs away.
