Food Mistakes All Women Make
You think you are on the right track. You count your calories and exercise when ever possible, you feel you are taking all the precautions required to stay fit but still you are just not able to loose weight. Its possible that you maybe making the following food mistakes:
Mistake 1:
Skip your breakfast:
Normally we are not hungry in the morning and it is easy to skip the breakfast thinking, by cutting out an entire meal we take fewer calories and loose weight quickly. But it is a misconception. After more than ten hours without food, we are so hungry that we over eat during lunch. As a result consume more calories. Eating breakfast not only helps control our hunger but also fires up our metabolism, which helps us in burning more calories and melt more flab. Eat your breakfast within an hour of waking up. No need to take a very heavy meal but it should be nutritious.
Mistake 2:
Trapped in a food rut:
After a long day you are too tired to cook or are just not in a mood and order your usual pizza or heat up the same can of soup. It is okay for a few days or once in a while but making it a regular affair is a big “no no”. You need to eat different types of foods, even the healthiest dish cannot provide you with all the nutrients your body needs. Try to add different textures, colors and flavors in your nutritional regime.
Mistake 3:
High liquid intake:
It is good to drink seven to eight glasses of water everyday as it helps our body to function smoothly and detoxify itself , but drinking too much of water will only put pressure on your kidneys and will make you bloat. Also, drinking alcohol and other creamy drinks is all the more harmful as it is loaded with calories.
Mistake 4:
Some foods fall in the no calorie zone:
We persuade ourselves in believing that anything which is not a part of standard sit-down meal like a bite of cake, a small piece of pizza or a hand full of chips has no calories. Consume them daily and you will add five to six kilos of weight in a year. Try to acknowledge everything you eat. Keeping a food diary, it helps a lot.
If you see yourself in any of these mistakes you will know where to start.
