Four Tips to Lose Weight
For some people, especially women, losing weight is a constant battle. But by following these four steps it won’t be such a struggle any longer. However, you need to stick to the plan once you have decided.
First step is not to take tea or coffee first thing in the morning. It is not that I am against it but tea or coffee has caffeine which increases the blood pressure and heart rate giving a shock to the body and making it stressed out. Just as you need to warm up your body before exercising you need to wake up the system out of slumber. So first thing you need to do is have a good breakfast within fifteen minutes of waking up.
Second step is instead of eating three big meals eat smaller meals every two hours. You just need to make smaller portions of your existing diet and spread it in twenty four hours. This will help your body to maintain the required level of sugar and rate of metabolism. Another benefit of eating less but regularly is your body is able to utilize the calories better and not store them as fat.
Third step is eating according to your requirement. If you are more active then eat more and if you are less active then eat less. Normally people are more active in day time; hence they need more calories to burn. However, if you are a night person then make sure you eat more calories at night rather than day.
Last is eating two hours before going to bed. One of the biggest mistakes we make is going off to sleep just after our dinner. Eating late dinner does not let your body rest as it has to digest the food. Lack of good sleep gives no time to the body to repair itself. Regular abuse makes the body tired and exhausted.
Changing habits is not easy and you fall back to the same old habits eventually. Consistency is the key.
