Get Rid Of Those Embarrassing Health Problems
We all face certain health problems which are small but embarrassing. Don’t feel shy to discuss it with your doctor because every problem has a solution and you are not the only one facing it. Here are some common conditions and there solutions:
Bad breath:
Also known as halitosis is generally caused by gum disease but as we know that our breath travels through stomach, throat and mouth, a problem or infection in any of these regions can cause bad breath. You need to consult a dentist in case of any dental problem but if it is other than dental problem then you need to take help of a general physician.
Everyone has a bad breath early in the morning but it goes away as we brush our teeth or eat our breakfast. You can chew on mint leaves or mint gum to freshen your breath. Sometimes dirty tongue can also give a bad breath; try cleaning it by a tongue cleaner. When we are fasting or dieting, the waste products from the broken fat which smell foul are expelled from the breath and cause bad breath.
You pass gas all the time:
Whether you pass it silently or in a place where no one can hear you, in any case I’m sure you have suffered from the problem at some point or the other. Studies show that our body produces 600 ml to 2 liters of gas everyday. These bouts of gas are due to poor dietary habits or a bad choice of food at lunch or dinner. Our body is not able to digest certain foods which start getting fermented and create gas. There are some other reasons like—not chewing the food properly or talking while eating or even drinking with a straw can lead to flatulence. Some people expel gas when they are anxious or stressed out.
Try to cut back on foods which take time to digest, like—beans, cauliflower, radish etc. You can even keep a food diary for a week, this will help you know what foods and drinks aggravate this problem. Sitting for long hours also cause gas.
