Growing Out Your Hair
Letting your hair grow—whether you are growing out length, layers, color or a perm—can seem to take ages. To see yourself through to the end you need a lot of patience. Tips we give below will help you handle your hair as it grows out, so it will look attractive and keep you motivated to achieve your goal:
Growing out length:
You need to visit your hair dresser for trims even though you are trying to grow your hair. It will give a tidy look and also remove split ends. One mistake that we usually make is get bullied into a major hair cut that sets us back months. You must tell your dresser what exactly you want and give her your reasons, but be very firm about it. You can even select a brand new interim style, little longer than your present length so that you can grow into it .You can also just lift up the sides of your hair and secure them with combs or styles.
Growing out layers:
Try to create textures to blend shorter strands into longer ones. Blow dry your tresses and add a bit of bend, as when you create curls or waves the layers will seem less.
Growing out fringe or bangs:
There are a few ways to gracefully grow out that cut. You can use gel to lift up the roots or you can use a hair band to get the hair out of your face. Another way to change the look of your bangs is with a little help from the blow dryer and a round brush.
Growing out the Color:
Freshen up the color if you can’t afford to have your hair color refreshed, experiment with color extending shampoos and leave in conditioners that will help brighten faded hues.
