Having trouble loosing weight?

Why is it that some people don’t loose weight even after healthy eating habits and exercise? They give it there all, but the weighing scale keeps disappointing them. This is because, there are some factors which people overlook while trying to loose weight.

If you are a struggler who is working really hard but going no where with his/her weight. Here are a few tips that might help you shred those extra pounds easily. First and foremost, if you want to see those pounds melting, you must modify your calorie intake on a weekly basis. Remember, when you loose weight your capacity to burn calories also decreases, you require less calories. You must keep a record of how many calories you are burning during your workout.

To loose weight you need to take the amount of sleep required. In a research it was found that women who slept five hours or less, weighed more than women who took a 7 to 8 hour sleep per night. Inadequate sleep can lead to slow metabolism which further results in high glucose levels and body fat storage. It also reduces the level of lepton and makes our body crave for more carbohydrates. Sleep also helps to mend the damaged cells and tissues. So be sure to get a 7 hour sleep everyday.

Water plays a very vital role in weight loss. Drinking water helps in suppressing the appetite. It also assists in turning fat into fuel. 60% of our body is water and hence, if we drink less; body goes into starvation mode and starts storing water which shows up as extra weight. Drinking at least 8 glasses everyday is very important. It also helps for good skin. For instance, you can avoid those stretch marks by keeping your body hydrated.

In addition, eat slowly as it takes almost 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that it’s full. You can help this cause by picking out food that slows down your rate of eating. Moreover, by biting slowly you release more saliva which helps in digestion.

Another thing to be kept in mind is, to avoid crash diets. Its true that starving will make you loose weight but will also make you loose muscle mass. Body needs energy to support itself. If you eat less body will start using muscle tissue which is required to burn fat.

Also, never skip your breakfast; try to have it within an hour of waking. It helps body to charge itself for the day. Not eating breakfast lowers your metabolism. Also, instead of three heavy meals try having 5 to 6 smaller meals all through the day. Smaller helpings several times a day gives your body the energy it needs to burn calories.

Another very important tip to remember is, don’t stand if you can walk, don’t sit if you can stand and don’t lye if you can sit. In the end I would like to say that, for some people loosing weight is a life long struggle but with healthy lifestyle, patience and determination you can achieve your goal.  Good luck.
