Healthy Ways of Cooking Eggs
Eggs are known to add super value and are really easy to cook. Here are some healthy ways of eating eggs:
Boiled eggs:
Slip a raw egg straight into a saucepan and immerse it completely in water, add a pinch of salt. Bring it to boil. Take the egg out of the pan, break the shell and serve.
Poached Eggs:
Put about 3 centimeters of water into a frying pan and bring it to boil. Once boiled, lower the heat and crack an egg into the water. Cook it carefully and gently for about 3.5 minutes, lift the egg up and put it gently onto the plates.
Scrambled eggs:
There are several ways of making scrambled eggs. You can chop in some veggies like- onions, capsicum, garlic etc or cook it without adding anything.
Beat the eggs in a bowl with a fork. Heat a saucepan and add in cube of butter in it. Once the butter melts, pour in the beaten eggs. Remember; keep stirring the eggs all the time until they become creamy. You can either add the cooked veggies later or with the beaten eggs.
Fried eggs:
Heat cooking oil in a frying pan. Once the oil is hot crack the egg and pour it directly into the pan. Do not stir the egg, since we want it to retain its shape. Once done, remove the egg from the pan with a wide bladed knife.
Eggs with a twist:
Boil a couple of eggs and keep them aside. Then take three table spoons of gram flower in a bowl and in it add- water and salt (according to taste), making a batter. You can also add spices and herbs such as oregano, chilly flakes etc. Once the mixture is made take a frying pan and fill it with oil, heat till the oil is hot, then take a boiled egg and immerse it into the batter. Once the egg is coated with the mixture put it into the frying pan and let it fry till you see it taking a golden brown color. Once it’s fried take it out and put it in a plate. Repeat the same for the other eggs as well.
