Home Remedies For Common Ailments

Due to the excessive side effects of antibiotics people are shifting to home remedies for common ailments. These remedies are made from natural ingredients like fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices.

For instance, to prevent indigestion you can boil two cups of water with one tea spoon cumin seed, a small piece of fresh ginger and a few curry leaves. Allow the mixture to brew for a while and then drink it. Another method is— grinding some ginger and extracting about a table spoon of its juice. Adding a pinch of black salt and having it every morning for a few days.

For pain or indigestion chew thymol seeds slowly. Also, to prevent nausea and car sickness licking a cut lemon sprinkled with black salt and pepper is very helpful.

When suffering form diarrhea make a mixture of fresh water, lemon, sugar and salt. Put it in the freezer. Give two table spoon of this chilled lemonade to the patient after every five minutes. It will not only help in diarrhea but also prevent dehydration. In case you are suffering form constipation, take flea seed husk with lots of water. You must drink three to four glasses of water after taking it.

For c, gargles with hot saline water are very effective. Put a tea spoon of salt in a glass of warm water, do it thrice a day.

Prepare tea by adding one tea spoon of pepper powder in a cup of milk along with a pinch of turmeric and sugar. Sip it to relieve from cold. Furthermore, if you have constant cough then that can be suppressed by keeping some pepper corns in the mouth.

Take a glass of water with juice of half of lime and one tea spoon honey first thing in the morning to loose weight. Another way to reduce weight is by adding cabbage and tomatoes in your salad with pepper seasoning.

Lastly, drinking apple juice daily is an effective nerve tonic. It re-charges the nerves and helps in depression.
