Green tea: Green tea is beneficial in boosting energy in a weakly body and also has a lot of medicinal values. Proper diet: This is most important thing to follow to lower fever. One should stay away from spicy, junk or oily food while having high fever. Cold beverages, alcohol, smoking and ice-creams will worsen the situation. Beverages and foods which are artificially sweetened should be avoided as they make the body hot by raising the temperature considerably.
