How to become a better parent?

Parenting is the most challenging job in the whole world .Being responsible for the proper growth and development of a human being (child) can be very pressurizing. It’s only obvious for parents to feel inadequate or lost at times, and wish there children came with there own guide book.

If you are finding it difficult to handle your child and are looking for advice then there is one thing you need to accept first, healthy and happy children are a consequence of successful parenting. If a child is mismanaged, it is solely because of your (parent’s) own fault.

Now let’s look at the ways, by which you can become a better parent, In his initial years a child requires a lot of attention and drains a lot of energy out of his mommy and daddy. It is very important for the parents to be absolutely fit so that they can devote proper time with there kid. You need to be robust.

Children require quantity time at this age. But remember; be very sure as to what you expose your child to. They will absorb everything . The biggest problem with parents today is, rather than understanding there Childs capabilities and putting an effort in figuring out what’s best for him , they impose there expectations ,without considering whether the child is built for it or not.Such parental preassure depresses the child and makes him feel like a failure.

For this matter, if you really want to be a good parent, make sure you understand your kid well. In addition, your child must be able to trust you. He/she must know that they can share anything with you without being judged. Communication is very important in this relationship and it’s vital for you to not always wear your judgmental cap on, when ever you’re having a discussion with your kid.

Listen to them closely and if you feel they are taking a wrong step make them understand that by rationalizing with them. Moreover, teach your child to respect and be nice to others. Preach them about the importance of compromising sometimes and being the bigger person. It is very important for a child to know all this to be able to adjust in the society.

Last but not the least, teach your children to love themselves and be independent. It is imperative for a youngster to have a high self esteem .Since, if he/she doesn’t think very highly of themselves; they will turn out to be highly insecure adults.

In all, parenting might be a tuff job but it is also the most rewarding. If you are ready to instill the above points in your parenting practice, you won’t have to worry about anything.
