How to do a French Manicure?
It’s classy, chic, and totally in vogue! A French manicure goes with every dress and occasion and makes a woman look clean and well managed. However, if you get one of this in a parlor, then be ready to pay big bucks. But, if you do it at home on your own, it might cost you just the half. Here is how to go about it:
The first step towards a French manicure is- filing the nails. Make sure you give your nails a square shape. To get that shape, you can cut the front portion of your nail straight across, with a nail cutter. Run the nail file over the leveled tip of the nail to eliminate uneven edges. Be certain you file in one direction only. It’s a fact that a square shape not only looks stylish, it also makes your manicure last longer and makes the nails stronger.
French style suits nails of every shape but it does not look good on totally trimmed nails.
The second step is- the application of the white nail polish. Before you start on with the second step, make sure your nails are absolutely clean wherein your previous nail polish is properly removed. After that, apply a white paint on the tips of your fingernails. To get the shape right, you ca put a tip guide on your finger nail. However, make sure you keep the white area thin as a wide white area looks too tacky.
Once the paint is applied properly, let it dry.
The third step is– to paint the entire length of your nails with a fawn nail polish. Once this polish dries then you are ready for the last step.
The last step is- to coat the nails with a transparent nail polish to give it extra shine. Once applied properly, let it dry and Voila! You are French manicured!
