How To Do A Pedicure?

Our feet are the most neglected parts of the body. The fact is one should take equal attention of the feet like the face and other parts of the body. Pedicure in nothing, but taking care of the feet in a professional way. One can get this done in a beauty salon or a beauty clinic. It might be expensive to visit the salon every time; however with simple ways and practices one can get a pedicure done in the home. One can easily do it alone at home or else can call friends so as to do it in groups.

One has to visit a beauty supply store to get the desired materials for a home pedicure. For this one should have, cotton balls, emery board, cuticle remover, buffer, pumice stone, nail enamel, nail remover, dish pan, orange stick, towel etc.

Firstly remove the nail polish with the nail polish remover with the help of a cotton ball. Remove it gently in circular motion. Now take a dish and fill it with Luke warm soapy water. Soak the feet in this water for 5-10 mins. Pat the feet dry. Now apply cuticle softener and push the cuticles back with the help of orangewood stick. The excess of cuticle could be mopped off. The cuticle could be trimmed with cuticle nippers.

The nails could be trimmed with the help of nail clippers. The nails could be now filed with an emery board. The buffer will help to smoothen, the ridges and the rough surface. Wet the pumice stone and rub the surfaces that are flaky and dry. The feet should be massage gently with foot lotion and let the feet relax while the moisturizer is getting absorbed.

The cotton should now be dipped in remover and the lotion residue has to be removed. Apply nail color after the application of the base coat and allow it to dry. The final coat should be applied and the quick spray dry will dry the nails in a jiffy.
