How To Find Happiness In Little Things
Happiness will never find you. It is you who has to find happiness. Total joy is a collection of small happy moments and these moments can be found only in little things in our daily routine.
Reading:
People who like reading are more likely to be happy. When you are completely immersed in a book or a novel you are in a condition known as flow. You will feel that in this moment you are touched by a sense of joy. To keep your habit of reading regular, you can even make your own book club. This way you will not only stay consistent with your habit but will make good friends who you share a common interest with . Moreover, reading will keep you healthier and fitter.
In gardening:
Digging your fingers in dirt can release happy chemicals in the body as it takes you back to your childhood. Working in your garden, seeing your plants grow is very satisfying and works like a therapy. You will feel all your stress being released.
In your photo album:
By seeing photographs of happy moments gives a lot of happiness, even more than music or chocolates. It is always worth taking a pause to re-live those happy moments again.

Instead of watching news all the time, do something else like feeding the birds, going out for a stroll, watching a comedy soap etc. This will have a dramatic impact on your mood and will make you feel more positive and optimistic. Instead of focusing on the bad things, you will be focusing on good things in life.
