The materials needed for it is easily available in a beauty store. Some of the basic material required for it are a dish, pumice stone, buffer, emery board, cuticle nipper, nail clippers, nail enamel, nail polish remover, towels, cotton balls, moisturizer, cuticle cream etc.
The first and the foremost step is to remove the nail enamel with the help of a nail polish remover. The cotton ball is dipped in the remover and gently rubbed on the nail surface. Take the dish; fill it with Luke warm mild soapy water. Keep the hands soaked in for 15-20 minutes. This will remove the dirt from the ridges and will soften the nails and the cuticles.
Pat the hands dry with a towel and push the cuticle back with a cuticle nipper. Follow the directions that are mentioned in the bottle of the cuticle remover to remove the cuticles. One can use the orange stick wood to push and loosen the cuticles. The excess of them can be mopped off.
Then comes the filing and trimming of nails. The nails have to be filed from the edges to the center. The filer should be held in a slanting position and the nails should be filed gently. The free edges can be cleaned with the soapy water. Next is the application of base coat and finally top it up with vibrant or matte shades of enamel. The excess of it could be removed with the orange stick wood.
