How to Get a Tan?

Don’t we all go ‘Ga Ga’ over the bronze Greek God/goddess like skin of some of our favorite Celebs or even some people we may know personally. Well, if you have a white pale skin, then you can notch up its color, several levels, by tanning it. However, be very certain about the method you choose. Here are some ways to get a tan:

Sun bathing:
This is the most natural way to get a tan. Go to a beach and lay down for around forty-five minutes, each day. This helps change your color tone. In case, you do not live near a beach then you can always lay down outside your home, in the lawn. However, do not try to get a tan in just one day by putting in more than one hour, as it can damage or even burn your skin. Give your skin at least ten days to change its color.

Tanning lotions:
Tanning lotions contain concentrated pigments, which temporarily darken the skin. They are most suitable for dry skins as they contain hydrating elements. Make sure you massage the lotion evenly all over your body. One of the biggest advantages of using lotions is that they give faster results.

Tanning sprays:
Tanning sprays are extremely good for beginners. These sprays give a very natural look and are extremely easy to use.

Tanning mousse:
If you want immediate results, then this is the product for you. This is one tanning option which helps you decide how much tan you need, very conveniently.

Tanning gel:
Tanning gels are excellent for people with oily skins, as they are non greasy and very light.

Tanning lamp:
Tanning lamps create ultraviolet light accountable for tanning. There are several different types of tanning lamps but basically they can be classified in two sets- low pressure and high pressure.
