Loads of make up, skimpy clothes …….. Nah! It’s all old fashioned. The solution is just -buy him a pint of beer. Jaws dropped! This is what has been concluded from a group of researchers. They have found that beer definitely works.

Beer goggles are believed to distort the wearer’s vision; it makes even the most unattractive guy or girl on the block, attractive and beautiful. In the least form one can say that passably attractive. According to the study, a pint of beer really makes men believe the other person more attractive.
The researchers have claimed that they have been successful in proving for the first time that men who had consumed alcohol, tended to rate pictures of women higher than those who had rated in non drunken state.

They have even claimed that a pint and half of beer can do the trick and may last for as good as 24 hours. The contestants were randomly served vodka and lime and a non-alcoholic drink that had similar taste.

It was noted that almost after half an hour of consumption, both the groups were asked to rate the attractiveness of 20 males and 20 females on a point scale. The group who had consumed alcohol rated the faces about 10 % higher then the non drinkers. The next day it was observed that the men who had consumed alcohol still rated the picture higher.

“The findings are important because of the role drink plays in, for example, unsafe sex,” was quoted in the “Telegraph” by Dr Marcus Munafo the lead experimentalist of this study. It was conducted at Bristol University. According to the experts alcohol stimulates the striatum; it is an area of the brain that has major role in attraction.
