How To Improve The Sperm
If you don’t want to be one of those couples who have been trying to get pregnant with no success or if you want to avoid abnormal or impaired delivery of sperm (as there is no obvious sign of low sperm count or male infertility except lack of pregnancy) you need to take some precautions:
To be fertile you need to have quantity, quality and high mortality of sperm. Although all factors cannot be controlled to improve the fertility but by taking certain measures you can maximize your fertility chances.
Eat a balanced diet. Take nutrients which help in sperm production. Eating plenty of fruits and veggies provide anti oxidants, which help in improving the health of the sperm.
Quit smoking because smoking brings abnormalities in sperm production leading to infertility. It also increases the risk of miscarriages. It has been seen that tobacco users also suffer from erectile dysfunction. Hence you should avoid both heavy drinking as well as taking tobacco. They are very harmful for the health of the sperm.
Avoid hot tubs and sona baths, increase temperatures can hurt sperm production. Tight pants prolonged sitting and even use of laptop can cause the temperature of your scrotal rise effecting the quality and quantity of sperm. If not unavoidable then take a break after thirty minutes.
Taking certain medication also affects the count, medicine taken for high blood pressure, diabetes or to suppress bowel disease. Even a simple flue can lower the count. You need to discuss the effects of medication with your doctor and opt for other alternative treatments. You can even save and freeze your sperm in case of some serious problem like cancer etc.
You also need to maintain your weight because too much of fat disrupts the reproductive hormones.
