How to Look Younger
Every body wants to look younger than they are after a certain age. There are ways in which you can do that.
REVITALISE SKIN-
A tired looking skin can be refreshed by a good night’s sleep. But if an eight-hour snooze is difficult in your schedule, you could try dabbing a chilled ,wet towel to your face before applying make- up. The ice-coolness will instantly tighten pores and brighten skin, making you look younger.
MOISTURE-ZAP WRINKLES-
Soap dries skin and makes wrinkles and lines more prominent. You may instead, opt for a cream-based, gentle face cleanser. Each wash must be followed with a good moisturizer, which will minimize the appearance of wrinkles and fill in small lines and dry patches. Products containing ingredients like Retin-A and Alpha hydroxyl acids, are known to offer best results.
FIX YOUR HAIR-
Your hair length must be kept between your chin and your shoulders because long hair usually weighs your face down, giving you an older look. Side-swept bangs to the look will hide forehead wrinkles and draw attention to your eyes instead.
SKIMP ON MAKE-UP-
It is a known fact that too much- make up makes you look many years older, so the make-up should be minimal. It may include a moisturizing, anti-aging foundation. Brown shades of lipsticks makes the skin look dull; instead girly shades of pink do the trick. Skip browns even in case of the blush. Older usually means dry skin so creamy blushes are best. Apply the color not under the cheekbones but to the apples of your cheeks, as it may make it appear gaunt and tired.
POLISH YOUR WHITES-
Dull, yellow teeth are the number one indicators of old age. Single-setting teeth whitening treatments can quickly revive your teeth to their previous pearly glory.
BEAUTIFY THY BROWS-
Be careful not to over-pluck eyebrows once you hit 30s since they are less likely to grow back. Over-plucked eyebrows are sign of ageing because they draw attention to fine lines and wrinkles. Fill the sparse areas with brow powder and keep the shape arched to bring out your eyes.
GO EASY ON SHIMMERS-
Shimmer powders often sink into fine lines and wrinkles, drawing attention to them. Apply it only on one facial feature, only once in the day, and twice at night, as a rule of thumb.
MODERNISE YOUR EYES-
For an open look draw a thin line close to your lids, extending the color upwards and outwards to add a lift. Opt for creamy eye shadows because matte eye shadows highlight facial lines. A soft, pale eye shadow with a little shine does wonders to open up your eyes. Don’t forget to curl your lashes before applying the mascara.
