How To Take Care Of Finger Nails?

After the face the hands are the most noticeable part of the body. One can camouflage the flaws of toe nails or feet with a good pair of designer shoes, but it is rather difficult to cover the flaws of the hands, as one can easily take notice of the hands during interaction. Thus one should take care of the finger nails in similar fashion as one takes care of the face and in dress selection. Ensure that some time is spent on the daily care or the finger nails so as to enhance the overall beauty and personality.

Diet plays an important role in the health of the nails. The right intake of food can bring the perfect glow to the nails. Nails are nothing but keratin, it is meant to safeguard the hands and toe fingers from any kind of injury. Negligence in diet can lead to brittle and weak nails.

One should also take sufficient amount of calcium, iron, vitamin D and potassium in food.  One can also pop in a multi vitamin to make the loss of the required supplements. Pamper the nails with generous amount of moisturizer. The chlorine in water and the sun can make the nails brittle hence moisturize it regularly.

Hydrate the body inside out. It means to consume sufficient quantity of water and juices to maintain the water level of the body. While cleaning the house or doing gardening protect the hands and nails by wearing gloves. The dirt and the chemicals may harm the skin and the nails.

Protect the nails from scrapping off. Perfumed lotions that contain alcohol should be avoided or else it will increase the brittleness of the nails. Never ever bite the finger nails. Nail polish will beautify the nails but also will enhance the beauty of your personality. After washing and cleaning take care that you moisturize it with a good quality moisturizer. The nails should be trimmed so as to avoid breakage. The cuticle creams could be used to soften the cuticles. Vitamin B is good for weak nails.
