Well, the reasons men only know better be it for running their hand through the golden tresses or simply they love the hair loose let open. Long hairs have always been adored and admired.

The choices are many when it comes to dress your long lock. Leave it shining, flowing or loosen or dress and braid them carefully, but one thing is true that even in this age of change, long hairs have been, and still would be, considered a symbol of femininity. Long tresses needs special care and attention. Maintenance of long hair often becomes a cumbersome task.

It’s important that, one uses the right kind of shampoo, conditioner and sprays, according to the type and texture of hair. These products are specially formulated to bring in volume, bounce or shine back. After care after shampooing is must. Wet hair is delicate and can break easily. Conditioning is a must, after any cleansing and washing ritual.

Never ever brush wet hair. Let it dry. Its better if it dries naturally, avoid usage of dry blowers or flatteners. Just wrap it in a soft towel so that excess moisture gets dabbed out. Do not tug or rub the spilt ends, or else you can pull it off.

Always, comb the hair with a wide toothed one. Start with the end, and gradually move up to the crown. By doing this, one can shun intertwining of hair and excess pulling. But choose the correct kind of brush for combing. The teeth end should be smooth and rounded not sharp.

Apart from this, frequent massaging the scalp is necessary. By massaging the scalp gets loosened, there is improvement in blood circulation and the elasticity of the hair also increases. Split ends are the outcome of the negligence and rough treatment of the hair. Handle your hair gently. Trim the split at regular period of time. Apply good conditioner at ends.

Do not make tight plaits, braids or tight chignon, if one does so than, there are chances of spot baldness. The hair gets pulled up back for a longer time and hence the baldness results. Those who make use curlers, flat irons, electric rollers, blow dryers and curling rods, beware, excess usage may damage your hair permanently. Hot oil treatments are necessary to keep the hair way from drying.
One can make use of various styles, it could be left free, curled or a simple pony tail will do the trick.

To achieve soft rising and falling waves, tong the hair and comb through the spray and finally spray shine or apply serum for finish. A simple parting will also look nice, depending on the shape of the face. Layering gives movement and drama to long hair. The ways are many; just choose the style that works better on you. So happy hair tresses maintaining!
