45-75 percent of the human body is made up of water. Not drinking enough water can lead to dehydration, which can further cause severe health problems. Lack of water in the body can result in memory loss, problems reading small print, concentration issues etc. Experts have always recommended that people should drink at least sixty-two ounces of water every day in order for the body organs to function at optimum levels.

Drinking water detoxifies the liver and kidney. It washes out the trash from the body. Water also has some great healing effects. It can be extremely beneficial in lessening the mucus in the body during cold and also reducing fever.
