And in their initial days after the birth these infants are awake most of the time. There are numerous reasons why a pregnant mother should reduce in fact cut the intake of caffeine.
Its nutritional value is zero. Excess intake results in insomnia and headaches among infants. Heartburn is a common problem among expecting mothers. Sometimes it even leads to dehydration. The choice is yours whether you prefer to completely give up the consumption of coffee or if still want to consume then better do it in moderation. If you find managing with one cup is difficult then can switch for sodas that are caffeine free or can take decaffeinated coffee too. Even the decaffeinated one has little quantities of caffeine, so never overdo it.
The health and wellness of the growing kid is in the hands of the mother, as the health greatly depends on what diet the mother is following. Ensure that an expectant mother eats well and for any dietary changes or consultation its better to seek the help of a gynecologist. .
