Is cosmetic surgery stealing away the natural beauty?
Most of the urban, chic and stylish women appear to be same now-a-days. They appear to be wearing the same expression, taut skin, frozen expression, icy pouts, giving a look, as their faces have been photocopied. You must be contemplating who could be behind this stereotyped kind of smile, then the hero or (villain) of course behind these remodeled faces, remade unnatural beauties is cosmetic surgery.
Latest techniques have hit the beauty market. The souk is increasing at a faster pace. The cosmetic surgeons are capable enough to reshape and reduce the wrinkle (let me put it like this, the skilled hands are capable enough to steal some bad years from your face) to your hearts liking. Even people from small towns and suburbs are getting smitten by the glam girls of the ramps and celebs. They simply want to ape their style without being aware of the consequences or pro’s and cons of such treatments.
The beauty clinic’s and wellness centers are being thronged by them, they are non hesitant to go under surgeon’s scalpel. The patient is thrilled and looking forward for transformation, while the doctors satisfy himself as an able creator (another feather in his/her cap). The final result is, everybody blessed with frozen icy expressionless face.
The popular writer and columnist Anil Dharkar has said, “I hate this unnatural look. It is as if you are talking to a mask. Botox freezes your muscles which in turn gives you a frozen smile. I find this very disturbing.”
But the persons and surgeons who are into this profession defend themselves.
According to them, if one operates keeping the facial structure of the patient in mind then, mistakes will never happen. Here, there won’t be any question of stereotyped facial expression. It has been observed that, every era has bought some changing trend in social standard beauty; it’s an on going process. It changes and evolves when the next trend unfolds.
Most of the females want to hold on to their idol. Fashion dictates the desire to be a part of that group. Social factors could also be attributed to his. The pressures emerging from all the social corners have created a standardized criterion of beauty. Though getting a Botox done and face lifts, will evade all the fine lines from your face but, it ultimately results in a mummified look.
Most of the surgeons have there own aesthetic standards. A perfect balance could only be achieved when the osmosis betweens the patient’s desire and surgeon capability is achieved.
