Life is God’s gift – Preserve Relationships
Just think of this…may be difficult but yes how true it is…one tragedy and it is all over. Every day you have been fighting over silly petty issues, not able to love and appreciate each other but did you ever realize how much time you are wasting in the process. Just imagine that all of a sudden your partner is just snatched from you.
Will you be ever able to accept the loss? Will you be able to manage life all your own. Will it be possible to manage work, home, children, and household chores all at once without any help at all? Please remember each day is God’s precious gift to us. Do not waste it by nagging your husband continuously, screaming at the kids and living an irresponsible life. God alone knows how many more hours we may have to live.
It so happens that we get so used to each other, so used to life’s routine that we forget basic courtesies. Language between spouses sometimes gets really bad and some hardly seem to communicate with each other. Learn to appreciate, admire and enjoy the life only God can give you. God has been gracious enough to help you lead a normal life, have a love relationship and get married and probably have kids. Do remember there are people who cannot have such a life.
So learn to love and appreciate your partner and preserve your relationship. Firstly imagine a life without him or her. Tell them how much you love and care for them and how much you need them. Lovingly let them know any weaknesses that you feel it would be nice if they correct. Never nag your husband…it is as good as killing your marriage. Live each day as it comes, be polite, loving and kind. Live each day as if it were your last and work as if it were your first. Be committed, loyal, and sincere and open in your marriage relationship. You are not going to get this life again so give it your fullest, best effort. Do not let rash talk and unnecessary words ruin your relationship. Give life your best and the best will come back to you.
