Magnetic Therapy Precautions
One of the most effective alternative therapies that have emerged in recent times is magnetic therapy. This kind of therapy is now being used to treat several ailments and conditions. When a person is opting for magnetic therapy then he/she should be well with the precautions and basic care that has to be taken. Only by putting certain do’s and don’ts into practice one can gain the maximum benefits and stay away from unwanted reactions.
Here are mentioned some of the precautions that has to be taken in magnetic therapy:-
After a magnetic therapy session it is not advisable to consume any cold items in form of drinks or eatables. They can dampen the effect of the heat energy that is produced after they application of magnets. Also see that the person should not take cold bath at least for one hour after the magnetic session.
The magnets should not be used after a meal. The gap should last fro at least 2-3 hrs. It has been observed that application of magnets immediately can lead to vomiting and nausea. The medium powered magnets should not be used in parts that are extremely delicate like the eyes, heart or the brain. For these places ceramic magnets should be used and restrict the time not more than 15 mins.
Pregnant women should stay away from strong magnets. It may lead to abortion. Also the magnetized water can be taken in moderation. See that you are not consuming the water like regular potable water.
The magnets should be paced proper in keepers so as to avoid magnetism loss. Heart patents with pacemakers or defibrillator should not use magnets. If a person is under medication then he/she should not use magnetic bed at least for 24 hrs. A magnetic bed may suppress the adrenal glands and can reduce the recovery energy slow.
