Adequate intake of vitamin c also helps improve skin health as it reduces dark spots and blemishes. It helps you to get a healthy spotless skin. Simultaneously consider vitamins A and E, as they have been proven to strengthen the skin cells thereby enhancing its overall appearance.
Drink plenty of water throughout the day. It helps to flush out toxins and keeps your skin hydrated and fresh.

Start your day by gently cleansing your skin with a natural cleanser or with one that is best suited for your skin type. Air dry your skin.
Exfoliate your skin twice a week, preferably at the end of the day, using a gentle scrub and mask. It helps to de-congest your skin by removing all the accumulated dead skin cells and brings out a fresh layer of skin.
Use a natural toner after scrubbing your skin to tighten the open pores.
This should be followed by a light moisturizer to retain the suppleness of the skin. Preferably one having antioxidants and anti-wrinkle ingredients.
Besides all the above it is important to get a good nights rest. Adequate hours of sleep are extremely important in order to maintain healthy glowing skin and also to avoid unwanted dark circles and puffiness around the eyes.
