Make Your Relationship Infidelity Proof

Infidelity is never easy to deal with, even though secret affairs and cheating are on the rise. It is unfair to the other person in the relationship, and yet it happens to the best of us.

Historically, cheating has always been condemned. Even the modern law condemns infidelity, not only on moral grounds but also because it breaches the sanctity of monogamy to which our society largely prescribes.

It has been found out that marital infidelity plagues more couples than not. Although almost 90% of couples do not approve of marital infidelity, 15% women and 25% men have intercourse with another person during the course of their relationship. Surveys have shown that 90% of men and 40% of women are likely to cheat on their partners.

If you have been in a relationship where your partner has cheated on you, it is normal to feel betrayed. You can take out your anger on your partner or try to understand what really happened so that you can work towards repairing the relationship. You must understand one simple thing. Just because your partner cheated on you, it doesn’t mean that you have fallen short. Their bad choices in life are not a reflection on you.

Usually when one of you has been unfaithful, you are both responsible to certain degrees. If you become less loving or stop valuing your partner, you may grow distant over a period of time. This distance leads your partner to seek elsewhere what they are not getting from you. If you are letting intimacy fade between your and partner, there might be consequences.

Do not let the burdens of work and family get in your alone time. Keep the fun part of your relationship alive. No matter how busy or preoccupied you become, always strive to get some alone time together – time that is only for you and your partner to bond and communicate.

Go on more dates together and make your relationship infidelity proof.
