Make sure that you smear the oil properly and evenly throughout the region. Use your entire body weight and the correct force on the area. But at the same time, remember to relax your hands and body while massaging.
The massage requires some specific movements using the hands. Generally circular or long rubbings are good for the areas. Find out the correct rhythm that will suit the person concerned. Using the fingertips for massaging is equally good. That way, the pressure becomes more specific. Patting the region is also a good concept. Keep questioning the person whether he/ she is finding the different massage techniques good enough. The moment you identify the suitable rhythm and technique, stick to it until the person asks you to switch on to a new one.
