He seems interested in you and asks for your number. You keep waiting for his call but that never comes. This type of behavior may have several reasons behind it. It may be that when he met you he felt that he should go ahead with you but later on he might have changed his mind.

It may also be that he took your number and kept his options open while he kept looking for other and, may be, better options. There can be other reasons, like after meeting you he might have met some other and better girl for him. Whatever it is, if he has not called you within the expected time, then chances are high that he will never.

You are dating him for some time and he is lavishly complimenting you too but he is not trying to kiss you. There is nothing negative in this behavior. Rather, he wants to be more than friends with you but is scared of rejection. There is also a small chance that he is not sure of you yet. So, if he is afraid of making the first move, then you take the first step or else encourage him by giving positive and subtle hints.

It may also bother you that even when he wants you to take it as a committed relationship, he doesn’t declare so to any of his close ones or acquaintances. If he doesn’t introduce you as his girlfriend to his people, then chances are quite high that he doesn’t take you so himself.

Though it may also be that if he is introducing you to others by only your name, then he has told them enough about you already and therefore your name is sufficient introduction of you. In such a case ask him straight about it. If he answers confidently then all is fine but if he reacts like a trapped animal then you have every reason to bother about it.
