Principles Of Reiki

Reiki is one of the popular alternate forms of healing practices. It has become more popular in the west than its origin place Japan. The popularity is generally growing day by day.

Reiki is actually based on certain principles. Here we are going to elaborate on the reiki’s prominent principles. One of the key principle on which reiki is based is “living for the moment”. It lay’s importance on being well acquainted about today and the current moment and what exactly is going on at the current moment.

Here are discussed some of the major principles:-

Not to be angry, today- anger is believed to be the root cause of all the evils. Anger if not managed and controlled can lead to negative consequences. When the mind is in state of anger, we are out of the frame of mind. During this time we may hurt the feelings and sentiments of our loved ones. If good choices are made then we can evade the chances of getting angry. Thus thinking positively in composed manner can avoid such situation to arise.

Not to worry, today- with commitments and responsibilities also comes in the baggage of worries. Worrying some times becomes part and parcel of everybody’s life. But it might become a problem if we carry it with us always. Unnecessarily worrying about unknown like future is not correct. As future is beyond control, and hence one should need not worry. In other words it lay’s stress on living at the moment and enjoying it.

Respect elders, parents and teachers- honoring and giving respect to the people who have added something in our life. By giving respect you will gain respect.

Make an honest livelihood- the main focus is not to consider any kind of work mean or small. Give respect to all kinds of work. Also cherish and enjoy the work that you are doing.  Dignity of labor is important. Do justice to your work and work in honest manner.

Appreciations to all the beings- give respect to all the organisms. They have been created with a purpose. They contribute in keeping the cycle of life stirring forward.
