Most of us are very particular about the way our butt is shaped. Men and women both want to have that perfectly tightened butt to increase their sex appeal. In this article we will share with you simple and effective exercises that can help tighten your butt and give it the perfectly sculpted look.

Exercises For Butt

Squats

Squats target not only the muscles in the butt, but performing squats will also help tighten and tone the muscles present in hips and thighs. Squats are also a great way of strengthening your core muscles.

How to Perform Squats

Stand straight in front of a mirror. Keep your feet shoulder length apart. Take light weights in your hands (men can start with 5kg in each hand and women can use 2kg weights). The hands should be positioned straight down and next to your body. Now slowly lower yourself so that the back of your thighs is parallel to the floor.

Squats

Your butt should be protruding out. Hold yourself in this position for 30-45 seconds. While in this position your knees should remain behind the toes and the spine should be kept straight. Come back to the start position by putting pressure on your heels. Do at least 2 sets of 20 reps each when you first start. Later you can increase the number of sets and reps.

Step Ups

Step ups are an excellent way of toning the muscles of the butt. They also target the glutes and strengthen them.

How to Perform Step Ups

It is important that step ups be performed correctly in order to exercise the butt muscles. Take a stepper and put your left foot on it. Do not put your entire foot on the stepper; use only the front of the foot (and not the heels) to step up. Now bring the left foot down and put the right foot on the stepper. Do these alterations at least 50 times with each foot. You can even take weights in your hands while performing the step ups.

Step Ups

Remember, the step ups work best when the stepper is of a good height. Also, when you step on it, you should make a 90 degree angle with your knees when your foot rests on the stepper. Along with performing exercises to tighten your butt, it is also important to follow a good diet plan. Cut down carbohydrate rich foods from your daily diet and include plenty of raw fruits and vegetables. Eating a well-balanced diet along with exercising is the only way of getting a slim and toned body.
