Erectile dysfunction is one of the leading causes of male infertility. In this condition, a man doesn’t get proper erection. Even if one acquires erection, he is unable to sustain it for long time. Due to this, he is unable to generate sufficient amount of sperm and eventually the lady doesn’t get any chance to get pregnant.
There are many reasons which cause erectile dysfunction such as age, obesity, too much consumption of alcohol, smoking, diseases like hypertension and diabetes, stress and some psychological reasons.
A few cases of erectile dysfunction can be cured by losing weight, giving up smoking and consuming a healthy diet.
When woman’s fallopian tube is blocked due to some reasons, she will be unable to conceive. Similarly, when a man’s sperm is blocked, he is unable to make his wife pregnant. Thus, you can call that man to be infertile. Even if a man experiences full erection and is able to produce sperm; if his sperm can not pass successfully through vas deferens (in testicles), it leads to a condition known as blockage of the sperm.
In this condition, a man can’t make his wife pregnant and is called infertile. Injury, vasectomy etc are some of the causes of this problem.
When a man is unable to release sufficient amount of sperm, he is unable to make his wife pregnant. This disorder usually occurs due to hormonal imbalance. So, hormonal abnormalities are one of the reasons for male infertility.
Hypogonadism is another cause to make a man infertile. Due to Azoospermia too, a man can become infertile. In this condition, a man is incapable to produce sperm due to sudden change of weather.
Your sperms need an unchanging temperature to survive; so even if the temperature rises a bit or falls a bit, the sperms die in the testicles; thus you are not able to make your wife pregnant.
Some sexually transmitted diseases (STD) like Chlamydia and gonorrhea too cause infertility in men.
Some male infertility conditions can be cured by adopting healthy life style and herbal remedies, whereas some can be treated with medicines. Some conditions may not be cured.
