Relationship Issues: Should You Leave?
However much deep relationship you have with your partner, there are always disagreements and complications. We all try to give our best to our relationships. We give them everything we have but sometimes whatever you do, nothing seems to be going right. When you are not sure about what to do in your relationship, it can be very emotionally taxing. We talk about when to leave a relationship in this article so you can decide for yourself if leaving the relationship you are in is right for you.
A lot of relationship experts feel that it is best to pack your bags and move out of the relationship when it ceases to be mutually beneficial. When even one of the partners feels that they are unfulfilled, the other one can never feel great about the relationship. It is much better to part your ways, move on and find something that would be better for you.
Usually when people are in an unhealthy relationship, they find it very difficult to move out of it but carrying the dead weight of a relationship that’s certainly doomed makes no sense.
No matter how hard breaking up feels, it has to be done. Going from being emotionally dependent on someone to becoming sort of self sufficient once again can take a huge emotional toll. However deciding whether breaking up is the only thing left to do is also very crucial. Here are some tips on knowing when it’s time.
1. You no longer feel happy or fulfilled. Your partner too feels similar.
2. You feel that communicating with your partner is useless. Communication between the two of you comes to an abrupt halt.
3. You don’t want to spend alone time with your partner anymore. In fact you begin to avoid them altogether.
4. You begin finding faults with your partner and stop seeing all the things that made you fall in love with them.
5. You feel that other people’s relationships are better. You begin comparing your partners with your friends or their partners. You compare your partner to others.
6. You stop laughing. Nothing cheers you up. Nothing makes you feel good about yourself. You are in a constant bad mood.
7. Your friends begin avoiding you and your partner. They just don’t feel comfortable being around you when the two of you are together.
